If the noise genre had a ballad variant, it might sound like this. True to type, the emotions expressed here are the pain, fear and self-pity of a trapped animal rather than anything worth dressing in pretty words.
Dedicated to Ami Yoshida (my favorite singer) and Varissuo (my home suburb, not the band).

Wow...
Varis syö yrjöä (pity about the umlauts, wonder how you'd have to spell it to get them right) just might be the most unlistenable record ever made. The three main movements are boring, tired, painful without being intense, unimaginative squalls of intermittent whines against a background of highway traffic that sounds almost soothing by contrast, but not interesting enough to hold the listener, either. Here is a record that sets out to convey just one message: "Go away, I'm sick and tired." As in ill and exhausted. This is too flaccid to rise to the level of anger.
This is clearly a record that the artist needed to make and release, a pitiful cry to the world: "Don't look at me, I'm pathetic!"
Two years on, having made it just halfway through in spite of my intimate relationship to its maker, it would be remiss of me not to warn you:
Do not listen to this. You may think you know what pain is, having braved all manner of weird noise, but this is something different. This induces squirming in boredom, discomfort and embarrassment. And the bastard did it on purpose.
