Great Fats
He was also a GI favorite during WW2 and performed frequently in camp shows. A great bubbly personality and fine musician. As stated, died too young.

Take time to listen to these tracks!!
Fats was, in my opinion, the greatest jazz pianist of his time. Unfortunately he died far too early, like so many other musicians.
